1st Day of 1st Grade

Yesterday was Katie's first day of first grade. I think she had a great time. The highlight of the day was FINALLY losing that front tooth that has been loose FOREVER! She is growing up so fast! Right now she is still a combination of little girl who adores her new Princess backpack and a big girl who is excited for soccer and a little boy crazy. Yesterday she told me that she has four boys on her list to marry! She says her four are Jack (her "boyfriend" from kindergarten), two boys she knew in preschool, and a boy her sits near her in first grade. Oh my! I can't wait to hear what she has to say when she gets home today!!

She really was excited to go, even though she looks bored/mad... I think she would be much happier if she never saw my camera again! :) You can't tell from this photo, but her pants are on backwards! She got herself dressed in the dark this morning-- I didn't notice until she got off the bus in the afternoon. oops!! :)
