First Day of Kindergarten!!

Today was Katie's first day of kindergarten. She was really excited to get up and get ready this morning. She didn't even complain *too* much when I got out my camera :)




These are just *SOME* of the kids at her bus stop. There are enough kids at this one stop to pretty much fill up the bus. It was a real party! People brought donuts, coffee, and tissues to pass around. Much to my surprise, I DID NOT cry this morning. :)

Kaite had been really excited, but the huge number of kids and all the noise and chaos started to get to her while we waited for the bus.

When the bus pulled up, her friend Jillian (in brown) grabbed her hand and basically pulled her one the bus.

Getting off the bus after the first day! She seemed to have a good day today. Kindergarten is WAY more intense than I remember. She will have homework every day (even today!) and be expected to do ALOT during the class time. I'm eager to see how much she grows and changes this year.
